Craziness and Blogging

As I write this, I found myself convinced tonight that I needed to go to bed early, because I have another crazy week ahead of me. Yet, I felt like I need to be a little more intent on updating this blog. I mean, why have one, if you are not gonna write something down. I don't have much profound to write, but I do have some stuff stirring around inside that I'll try and reveal later...but for now...

Family - I've heard alot of people talk lately about being thankful for family. This is the time of year when we seem to focus a little more intently on what we are appreciative of, yet in January, much of that will fade with the challenges of the new year. I'm excited about this time of year, because it reminds of us of what is most important.

Baylor - This girl has a mind of her own...for real. She is not afraid of anything really and loves to challenge us with hard questions...she know that the reason she is pretty is because "God made me pwetty"! I love this girl!!!

Caed - I asked Caed the other day if he had any love interests at school. He told me there was a new girl at school and that he made a scary face at here when she looked at him...and how had hit her with a skunkball (still figuring out what this is) one day at PE...he's all boy and showing it more every day!!!

Penny - I don't have enough room or time to tell you all the reasons of why I love this woman. But she is the love of my life and I appreciate all she does to help make our family...a...family. More to come on each of them later...but I thought this was worth sharing!!!

Did I Say That Out Loud?

I'm sure you have asked yourself that question. Sometimes you think something in your mind and before you know it, you are looking for a place to hide, because you have opened up your mouth and out came something that often you regret - at least that is the way it usually happens...

But what if we said it out loud on purpose. I mean - there are things that need to be said out loud, just no one wants to be the one to do it. I hope to provide some thought provoking questions that will challenge all of us in our pursuit to know Jesus more!
